1,127,700 People Crossed Disengagement Line in the East of Ukraine in September

During September 1,127,700 people crossed the disengagement line in the east of Ukraine in both directions. Of these, 877,100 people through the EECPs in Donetsk Oblast, 250,600 through EECP “Stanytsia Luhanska”.

Compared to August, total number of crossings in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts decreased by 14.5%.

The largest load was recorded at EECP “Maryinka” (271,600 people and 49,500 vehicles).

  • EECP “Mayorske” 264,300 people and 32,600 vehicles;
  • EECP “Stanytsia Luhanska” 250 600 people and 0 vehicles;
  • EECP “Novotroitske” 232,900 people and 45,400 vehicles;
  • EECP “Gnutove” 108 300 people and 25 400 vehicles.

In addition, through EECP “Novotroitske” to Donetsk oblast international organizations delivered humanitarian goods:

  • food – 202,0 tons;
  • building materials – 134,41 tons;
  • medications – 6,32 tons;
  • other 16,51 tons.

Citizens of Ukraine who live in temporarily occupied territories travel to controlled territory to visit families, purchase necessary goods and services. Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine is actively working to improve the convenience and speed of crossing EECPs by citizens who, under circumstances beyond their control, live in a temporarily occupied territory.
