In addition to the previous work related to popularizing the Portal and a series of trainings for users from local authorities MTOT made it possible to place the Portal Banner on the Government Portal and on the official website of the National News Agency of Ukraine UKRINFORM.
The Ministry appeals to the interested public and the media to become active users of the Portal, as it will allow the authorities to respond promptly to the challenges and problems of the society in the east and to target the assistance of international humanitarian organizations.

*MTOT together with the World Bank and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) developed “Portal for Economic and Social Recovery” portal.mtot.gov.ua (hereafter – the Portal) – a modern, innovative online platform for operational monitoring of projects aimed at restoration of infrastructure and the development and support of communities and their projects.
The main purpose of the Portal is to create a single National Platform, which will summarize all information about the needs of the affected region, programs and projects designed to address them. The platform is intended to help executive bodies of all levels, donors, and, as a result, directly citizens who have been affected by the conflict. There is an opportunity to publish and update relevant information, to summarize and monitor it at any stage.
The Portal’s functional capabilities were presented at Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development (Sweden) and at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington DC (United States of America). For nearly half a year, the portal has been operating in a test mode, while MTOT has been thoroughly working on expanding the number of users among public authorities (central and local) in order to create a common database of projects and needs in territories affected by armed aggression of Russian Federation in the east of the country.
